Just because a person CAN do something doesn't mean he must, similarily, just because a game allows something, doesn't mean it's supposed to happen that way. Yes of course low security areas are unprotected. But there is an RP value to this. It is wildernenss, and wilderness is where more valuable ores are located. However, because it is wilderness, it also attracts unsavory people. So yes, I agree, there is a certain amount of danger that is associated with being in a low security area, but the point of a low security isn't to just randomly kill ships just because you think it would be fun. It takes a better person, NOT to kill or attack ships in low security, whether you think you can take them or not.
I would have been much more impressed if you said hello acted friendly and then stabbed us in the back... at least that would have been entertaining for the both of us.
In addition, this is supposed to be a game of partnerships and alliances, of teamwork. If you are out there all by yourself, and we are not threatening you, why would you make an enemy in your own space?? Doesn't it make more sense to collaberate and watch each other's backs for REAL pirate threats??
I'll never understand the mentality that most wannabe pirates have, but whatever the case, our losses were quite minimal, and that is precicely why we had so little protection. The fact that you got the jump on us has nothing to do with anything except for the fact that we were sitting ducks. I'm so glad it was a rush for you, but I would keep an eye out for us in the future, because you have deffinately made an enemy here, and you should not be proud of this.

Someone is sore!
Expecting miners to be packing drones and countering with smart bombs seems pretty well thought through to me. The tank may need work but nice one, good effort. You can sense the thrill and the pilot did well. Those who just slag off the setup without giving better options are losers with nothing else to do. For the victim to come on and explain that he lost because he was watching a movie says a lot, good effort mate, you had a great time and came out on top...end of story really.
